Divisional Round Bracket Challenge Results

Between Dez's "non-catch" and Peyton's performance, the Divisional Round of the playoffs was kind of ugly. The Packers and the Cowboys went at it for a while, and the Panthers Return Specialist (Brenton Bersin), yes the blond haired guy, had another risky performance. Non of the games were nearly as exciting as the college football playoff. Except maybe Dallas-Green Bay.
The Bracket Challenge had four perfect contestants:
Logan Bruce
Josh Heimer
Isabel Edgar
Ms. Erickson (yes, she is redeeming herself)

Many others were a game off of perfect:
Jack Schroeder
Trevor Liggett
John Perry
Megan  Schalliol
Alec Loehr
Cristian Cobos

Some people are at 50%
Mr. Brooks
John Allstot

And Poor Eric Paget went home with one point...

Hopefully this week's games will be, well, less ugly. We will have some good ones in the Colts-Patriots and Green Bay-Seattle games. Let's not have another Golden Tate level of officiating blunder. Packers fans will use that as an excuse of why they won't be Super Bowl Champs this year.

Final Rankings For College Football: Ohio State Buckeyes!

I'm not going to overkill the fact that I won, but OSU was definitely a good pick. I send my condolences to Ms. Erickson; we still love you. Jack Schroeder wins the award for worst picks of someone who knows a lot about football (HINT: Next time don't go heavy SEC).

No. 4 Ohio State upsets No. 1 Alabama 42-35

In Week 10, when the College Football Playoff Rankings came out for the first time, the Ohio State Buckeyes got the short end of the stick. At No. 16, the Buckeyes were one of the lowest ranked one loss teams. To make it to the playoffs they would need to take down No. 8 Michigan State, No. 15 Nebraska, and soon to be ranked Wisconsin and Minnesota. They did. Convincingly. Convincingly enough to leap over Baylor and TCU. With their third string quarterback in the first start of his career, they beat Wisconsin 59-0 in the Big 10 Championship. Then came the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide. With a quarterback with only one college football game experience, they defeat the giant 42-35.
They will play No. 2 Oregon in the national championship.

No. 2 Oregon beats No. 3 Florida State 59-20

So much for being perfect.

Looks like Jameis Winston will have to go to the pros with one loss on his record after a solid Oregon squad dismantled the Seminoles. Everyone picked Oregon to deliver and they did. 2013 Heisman Jameis Winston and his offense had 5 turnovers in the game, while Oregon quarterback Marcus "Super Mariotta", the 2014 Heisman, took advantage of poor Jameis' blunders racking up nearly 60 points. While some people are disappointed with this result, the internet has poked fun at a play. It was fourth and five and it seemed like the Seminoles could still come back. Jameis Winston fumbled and the Oregon defense scored, basically ending the game.
